Making a meal plan, buying the right ingredients and cooking the meals is one of the best ways to keep your budget on track and create inexpensive healthy meals. By making a meal plan you are eliminating waste and saving a lot of wasted time trying to figure out “what to make for dinner”.
In the first column I list ingredients I need to pick up at the grocery store. In the second column I list each weekday evenings meal. You will notice I also list (in pink) I different meal for myself. I am in the process of switching over to a gluten-free diet (better for my hypothyroidism).
Having the meal plan really helps me save time at the grocery store, save money, and cook and serve my family a delicious, healthy meal.
